How it works

Deliver parcels in your local area with Hermes. Earn good money, work to your own schedule and enjoy a great work-life balance.

Hermes couriers are self-employed and use their own vehicle to help Hermes deliver all of the great things that our customers order online, straight to their door.

People are shopping online more and more every day so we always need more couriers to help us collect and deliver our customers parcels.

How it works

As a Hermes self-employed courier you would start your day at your local sub-depot.

This is where you collect all the parcels that need to be delivered. Here, you will meet other couriers working in and around your area. It’s a great way to start the day, swapping stories and getting to know people. If you live in a particularly rural area, your parcels may be dropped off for you at your home each morning.

Using the Handheld Terminal (HHT) that we provide you’ll scan your parcels, load them into your vehicle and plan your route. Once this is done it‘s just you and the open road.

You can deliver and collect parcels between 8am and 8pm.

You're in control

One of the best things about working with us is that you can plan your day around your lifestyle.

You can pop home for a cup of tea, meet your friends for lunch, dedicate some time to studying or do the school run. As long as your customers are happy, it’s really up to you.

More deliveries, more money

There's no limit on how many parcels you can deliver.

If you’re doing a great job keeping customers happy, then there’s no reason why you can’t take on more parcels to deliver. After all, the more you deliver, the more money you earn.
