Hermes self-employed couriers don’t need to have a delivery or driving background. In fact, most of our couriers don’t.

What makes a good courier:

The ability to plan your own workload and driving routes.

The passion and motivation to get the job done.

Ability to work independently.

An understanding of the importance of delivering parcels on time.

Knowledge of your local area.

A friendly and pleasant attitude.

Taking pride and responsibility in handling parcels with care.

A capable and confident driver.

What you need in order to apply:

A full, valid driving licence and access to a reasonably sized vehicle with a valid MOT and insurance

The right to work in the UK.

An Android Smartphone with access to the internet and a minimum 2MB storage

No unspent criminal convictions*.

*Hermes will require you to provide a clear, valid DBS certificate within the first 5 weeks of providing service (The DBS certificate should dated in the previous 6 months).
